Complete biography
Johanne Lalonde has been working in visual arts for more than 15 years through arts modeling, dance-poetry performances with installations, journalism, fine arts, as well as body and face painting.
Her interdisciplinary experiences give her the ability to take on challenging projects that require precision and creativity.
Owner of a party production company, she developed some artistic specialties that will bring visual arts into the world of entertainment.
Motto
Counteracting the stagnant reality of visual arts by revealing the creative process in public performances with make-up artistry, bodypainting and paint on direct. Traditional exhibition is not excluded from her career orientation but, the idea of movement within the painting itself is much better transmitted through a live performance.
About her work
Her research is essentially centered on movement within the work of arts ; movement of the spatula, sponges, brushes, hands, airbrushes and interactive colors. Her past experience in dance comes through the dynamism of her composed paintings and whatever you look at her abstract arts or her figurative bodypaintings, we can feel the rhythms of nature like a dance of shapes emerging from a shapeless environmental issues.
